JD & Jake's The Barber Shop

JD & Jake's is, in my opinion, one of the few remaining genuinely authentic "barbershops" in the greater Kansas City Metro area. With a laid back, low key atmosphere and a consistently personable but knowledgeable and professional staff, this business makes getting a haircut a truly relaxing, calming experience. It is the barbershop equivalent of the famed "Cheers" bar seen on television. Everybody actually knows each other. The barbers are dedicated to recognizing and interfacing with regular customers and immediately befriending new ones. The mood in the establishment is always welcoming and service oriented. Equally as important, the barbers go out of their way to treat each customer as an individual and to insure that that specific haircut styling requests and personal peccadillos are met to the maximum extent possible. JD & Jake's is a place where you can comfortably relax, let your guard down, and never worry about receiving less than quality, professional sartorial service and an uplifting personal experience. I always eagerly anticipate every forthcoming visit to this habit forming establishment. What more can I possibly say? You are seriously and needlessly depriving yourself of the opportunity to add a rare oasis of tranquility to your monthly routine if you don't give JD & Jake's a try. Don't say I didn't tell ya! An outstanding, well managed small business!!!

Been in here multiple times now, never disappointed. Eddie gave me the best haircut in ever had. Chill spot and great prices! Highly recommend

Saw a bunch of good reviews for Eddie, was visiting from Florida and needed to get this mop off my head. Walked right in, sat down immediately, was greeted, super nice guys. Eddie took his time and basically copied the exact picture i showed him. appreciate the hospitality, will definitely be back here next time i come up here.

Great place, i try a few places for haircuts and didnt get the result i want, but here all was amazing

Great haircut Great price Amazing people. Saw a level of compassion displayed by the staff for kids and children at heart. Had a great time with Jason! I would recommend any of the chairs in the shop based on what I saw and the vibes. Very strong first impression, and I will be making it back for sure.

They give alot of attention to detail. They opened at 8am, so that was awesome.

Jason without a doubt always gets the job done. Never had a bad haircut with him! Would highly recommend
